Letters to Santa

Have you ever written a letter to Santa? Have you ever participated in this tradition with your own children? Have you ever read what it is they write?
As a child I was very focused on the “asking” and”getting” portions of the holiday season. It is easy for many to lose perspective and forget why we celebrate what we choose to celebrate. Below is a letter to Santa, written by a little boy that is much different that the typical letters children write this time of year. Reading this letter helps me put my own selfish desires aside and feel more gratitude and charity. As you read Jimmy’s letter, use it as an opportunity to remember all that you are grateful for and reflect on the true meaning of this holiday season.
